About Niva Lorne
The Artist
Niva Lorne is a singer-songwriter from the rolling countryside of England, where winding lanes, stone cottages, and open fields shaped her sense of storytelling. Born into a family where music was woven into everyday life, Niva grew up surrounded by the sounds of folk ballads, classic vinyl records, and the gentle hum of her father's acoustic guitar.
Her earliest memories are of rainy afternoons spent by the fireplace, humming melodies while scribbling words into a weathered notebook. Her music blends folk-pop, indie, and acoustic storytelling, with subtle influences from the Celtic traditions of her region.
Known for her raspy, emotive voice and poetic yet relatable lyrics, she writes songs that explore homecoming, love, loss, self-discovery, and the quiet beauty found in ordinary moments.
The Sound
Niva is often described as "the voice that feels like a warm evening after rain", comforting, yet with a bittersweet edge. She prefers raw performances over heavily produced tracks, believing that imperfections are part of the soul of music.

About the Album
Nostalgic Embers is Niva Lorne's first full-length album, a collection that flows like a journey: beginning with the excitement of departure, drifting through moments of self-reflection and longing, and ending in a quiet but powerful return.
The songs were recorded in a small countryside studio with wooden floors, analog microphones, and an emphasis on capturing natural sound. Instruments include acoustic guitar, piano, double bass, soft percussion, and occasional strings, with Niva's voice always at the center.

"Hands deep in soil, earth under nail
Life in the ground tells an ancient tale
Seeds of tomorrow in yesterday's rain
Growing through joy, growing through pain"
"Winter's Hush"

Louder than a roaring sea
In the silence, truth unfolds
Stories that were never told"

Where memories rise and settle down
You've grown, but you're home
You've grown, but you're home"
